The challenge

Tribe Innovation conducted two workshops for the MBA Innovation and Entrepreneurship Club. For the first workshop, TI collaborated to derive the problem statement: How might we improve the accessibility of parking spaces at William and Mary for all students? For the second workshop, MBA students tackled the problem statement: How might we make it easier for MBA students to develop a network and hold onto it.

Design Thinking Process:

Create

During both workshops, facilitators took participants through the create phase of design thinking which included brainstorming, organizing, converging, and prototyping.

The results

The first workshop culminated into 115 ideas and five different prototypes. The second workshop allowed the MBA students to walk away with a personalized plan on how to develop a professional network, that played to their strengths. As a result of these workshops, students learned about the design thinking process, and developed innovative solutions.
