John Marble, an autistic man, is a writer and speaker on innovation, autism, and neurodiversity. He is the founder of Pivot, a business that empowers other companies, primarily in Silicon Valley, to actively hire and support neurodiverse employees. In 2009, he was appointed by President Obama to the United States Office of Personnel Management, where he focused on workforce innovation, development, and incorporating neurodiversity into government services. John also served as an advisor and aide to Secretary Hillary Clinton, Senator John Kerry, and Vice President Al Gore. He additionally is the founding advisor for Neurodiversity Pathways, a program of Goodwill in Silicon Valley that has helped 21 chronically unemployed autistic individuals gain steady jobs that now generate $1.46 Million in annual salary and benefits. Overall, he is very passionate about increasing diversity in tech and is motivated to use his company to partner with advocates in this industry.
